Faughan Valley Landscape Officer(Closed)- 3 year fixed term contract with possible extension subject to funding - (based in the Derry City Council Area) Salary: Junior Management (£24,646 rising to £30,851 per annum)
Applicants must possess a third level qualification in an environmental / heritage related discipline
e.g. HND in Environmental Management, Heritage, Countryside Management.
A degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant discipline as set out above is desirable.
Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 year’s relevant project management experience working
in environmental / countryside management or community based partnership schemes and show
demonstrable experience in the following areas:
- Management of programmes and projects
- Habitat management and creation
- Working in partnership with community and voluntary sectors
- Countryside access and route development
- Managing resources and budgets
